Installation of ChromEx is comprised of two parts. A Google Apps Marketplace App that can be installed on a G Suite domain (Across entire domain or specific organisational units) and a “kiosk app” which can be installed on a Chromebook.
Installation and setup of ChromEx on the domain (Teacher version)
Open the link below when logged in as a G Suite administrator

Press “INSTALL APP”
Accept the “Scopes” and activate for the entire G Suite domain (Or specific organisational units).
Choose not to notify users, and click on “Next”
Choose to start the app.
Login as a G Suite administrator in the teacher section of ChromEx by starting the app.
In “Domain Settings” submit group information and add the groups that contain teachers who have the authority to create an exam. You may wish to start by using a smaller group for testing purposes.
Installing the ChromEx kiosk app on a Chromebook (For students)
As a G Suite administrator, login to the admin panel in G Suite. https://admin.google.com
Go into the Device Management section.
Under Device Management, go into the Chrome Management then Device Settings.
Select Settings for Public Session.
Navigate to the Organisational Unit (OU) wher you want ChromEx to be deployed and installed. Select the relevant OU in the window on the left side of the page view.
In the Kiosk Apps field, choose Manage Public Session Apps
Search for ChromEx and then press Add and Save, then press Save again.
All Chromebooks that are connected to your domain with a Chrome Management License within the Organisation Units specified will receive ChromEx automatically. When it is time for the exam, ask the teacher or student to restart their Chromebook and click on the Start App button located on the bottom left of the screen and choose ChromEx. Please note that this must be performed prior to logging in.
Please Note!
The Kiosk App requires ChromeOS version 49 or later.
If the policy “Delete all settings for user credentials and status after logoff” is activated, students will not be able to continue their test in the event of a Chromebook restart.
